Education center „BUTS” is one of the biggest private educational institutions in Latvia. It was founded in 1991. In 2002 the education center „BUTS” was one of the first to obtain the certificate of the Quality Management System according to ISO 9001:2008 in the field of education (issued by L’loyds Register Quality Assurance).
Education center „BUTS” has more than 20 years of experience in adult professional training and improvement of professional skills in different educational programs within the framework of:
• professional continuing education (first, second and third level of professional qualification);
• professional development;
• non-formal education (corporate courses and seminars, as well as seminars and courses for personal growth).

There are more than 200 licensed professional education programs, most of which are accredited by Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Latvia.
To enhance students’ understanding on the issues be acquired, to provide an adequate theoretical and practical training, there are included theoretical lessons and practice in the learning content: practical and laboratory works in study subjects according to the educational program and practice in company. |

Education center “BUTS” offers lessons both in full time, and in evening groups. Lessons take place both in premises of education center, and in companies. Some educational programs are available in the form of e-learning.
Classrooms: study rooms and workshops are equipped with the latest equipment and necessary for work systems. Theoretical learning process is ensured by technical means of teaching and learning materials. | | |
